The $20 that started it all
Ken was the treasurer of a big hockey league, the one chasing players and substitutes to get paid. When the foundation started and the league went to three times a week, Interac e-transfers and paper punch cards became impossible to keep track of. One Sunday morning, the petty cash still didn’t balance. Twenty dollars were missing.
He looked for a simple app. Everything he found was too complicated, too expensive or poorly designed. The tech geek in him woke up and a first draft took shape. Why not think bigger?
